Our Family Journal: Father Daughter Dance

...is my husband and partner of over 8 years. He is the bio-father of my two youngest children and has been a father-figure to Victoria since she was 4. He enjoys playing video games (usually with the kids...but sometimes he lets me beat him in Madden), riding his 4-wheeler and playing with his beloved dogs. Our journey together isn't always 'a walk in the park,' but I like to compare our life together to the song "God Blessed the Broken Road." I am so glad to have someone to laugh with, cry with and occasionally argue with (as long as I win the argument ...haha) ... and I am glad our broken roads led us to each other.

Father Daughter Dance

Now, things have been kind of crazy the last month and a half. But going to the Father-Daughter Dance, and getting to see all the fun and excitement, was a true treat!
