This blog has been designed to share our life with friends and family, near and far...and for me to express my creative talent (or lack thereof) in a meaningful way. You may also come across some random thoughts about life in general from this mommy (so be forewarned of possible ramblings).
Welcome to Our Family Journal!
Meet The Family...
Victoria AKA "Vic"
...is our 12-year-old daughter who just happens to be the best big sister in the world...She is truly a huge lover of people and animals and enjoys socializing (all the time). She is getting ready to go to 8th grade and just won't stop getting older! Although she is becoming quite the young lady, she will always and forever be my very, first baby.
Evelina AKA "Eva"
...is our 6-year-old daughter who is intelligent, sassy, and independent. She has had the most beautiful voice I have ever heard since the day she was born and loves to sing. She is anxiously awaiting the start of 2nd grade.. She enjoys harassing her brother and sister (and mommy and daddy for that matter) and LOVES McDonald's Cheeseburgers (probably way, too much).
Joe Jr AKA "Bub"
...is our 3-year-old son, whose short stay in the NICU at birth truly made us appreciate what we have. I will cherish him until eternity and will not force him to play football (well, at least physically force him...does bribery count?). He enjoys watching Wheel of Fortune and The People's Court (seriously) and he LOVES to eat, just like his big sisters!
Joe Sr AKA "Daddy"
...is my husband and partner of over 8 years. He is the bio-father of my two youngest children and has been a father-figure to Victoria since she was 4. He enjoys playing video games (usually with the kids...but sometimes he lets me beat him in Madden), riding his 4-wheeler and playing with his beloved dogs. Our journey together isn't always 'a walk in the park,' but I like to compare our life together to the song "God Blessed the Broken Road." I am so glad to have someone to laugh with, cry with and occasionally argue with (as long as I win the argument ...haha) ... and I am glad our broken roads led us to each other.
I am a country-living-destined-to-never-return-to-the-suburbs mom of 3 beautiful, healthy children...Victoria (12), Evelina (7) and Joe Jr (3), and a wife to Joe Sr (hey, we FINALLY got married)! I am also a work at home accountant for a WONDERFUL Non Profit Organization and a co-leader for our Girl Scout Troop...I enjoy Girl Scout-ing, watching football (Go REDSKINS, please?), beating Joe in Madden on Playstation (ok, sometimes he beats me...by a very small margin), playing Wii, being a veggie gardener, watching LOST reruns on DVD, Fringe and Jeopardy, clipping coupons, taking online surveys (sometimes I get $$...nice...you can, too...sign up by clicking the link below), loving my babies and preparing them for the wonderful life ahead of them....I am a proud Libertarian which, in part, means I believe in less government, more civil liberties and that PURE HARD WORK is the key to success in life no matter what you are doing...I thank God each day for the so many blessings in our lives. Life is an amazing gift which I am ever so grateful to be able to share with my family and friends. WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!
For each of you that signs up to take surveys (by clicking the link below) I get 150 points (equal to $1.50) credited to MY account.
